Days of Bucharest - 550 years since the Capital’s first documentary acknowledgement

ArCuB organizes within the Days of Bucharest 2009 anniversary event, the series of events dedicated to the 550 years since the first official documentary acknowledgement of the Capital.

The program will begin on September 12, at 20.30, in Constitution Square, with a multimedia show that combines visual effects synchronized with group choreography on specially selected music and on a large technical stage.
 
The show of lasers, pyrotechnic effects and video projections will be accompanied by recitals of the most important Romanian singers such as: Marcel Pavel, Monica Anghel, Corina Chiriac, Nelu Ploieşteanu, Gabriel Cotabiţă, Andra, Oana Sârbu, Paula Seling, Doina Spătaru, Alexandru Arşinel, Maria Buză, Silviu Biriş, Maia Morgenstern, Dumitru Rucăreanu, Aurelian Temişan, George Nicolescu, Ovidiu Lipan Ţăndărică and Gheorghe Zamfir accompanied live by an orchestra conducted by Ionel Tudor.


The concept of the show is based on a scenario that aims at crossing the History of Bucharest, each sequence being marked by lights, choreography, costumes, and visual effects.
